yeah it can take a month to work..

also, if your on TPS and your still getting calls then they are from companies you either have a contract with or that company has a contract with a company you have one with, they share phone numbers... british gas is known culprit to pass on your number to others who cold call, some of these companies dont have to check the TPS list because its not classed as cold calling (even though it is) because "technically" you are a customer....  read what you sign

you can always ask them who they are and address etc and contact them and ask HOW they got your number, they will tell you..
Sky Broadband LLu ->  17,600k / 27.5db / 7.0db  = 15.1Mbps / 28ms
Alcatel-Lucent MSAN (Broadcom 10.06.33) <-> Netgear DG834N Router (Broadcom 6358)

PPI is driving me mad !  If you ask them what company the are phoning from they just hang up. This is because they are breaking the law by cold calling for this matter as per their regulatot the Dept of Justice. They are hoping the promise of gold will make you forget it was a cold call. The fact they hang up means you can't report them and when you dial ring back you get a recorded message saying someone phoned to offer services.

I have raised this with BT. Ofcom, Department of Justice and the Information Minister. BT say they are working within the law !! even though they are selling the use of the lines and these PPi people are refusing to identify them selves as required in the wireless and telegraph act. BT are making money and don't seem to care.
