Looking forward to upgrading my SE Neo to ICS next March
http://www.gsmarena.com/android_40_ice_cream_sandwich_is_coming_on_all_xperia_2011_phones-news-3106.php

What smartphone do you have? and what network deal?.

Mines a SE Neo (not neo V) with 8mb camera android 2.3.4, on legacy O2 monthly £25.20 (now month by month contract as i did not renew cuz renewing put's me on a new limiting contract) with 300 mins xnetwork/nat calls, unl text and web.
Last month 1.1G, currently 487Mb since the 7th, mainly due automatic updates, emails with pictures, browsing, mp3 d/l, news feed.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit  O2 BB & box V (TG582N)
Connect Speed 18600/1395 kbps. Atten 22.5/11.0 db
Noise Margin D/U set @ 6.0/6.0 db

I still have an old Sony Ericsson w880i in gold... its a few years old now, i love it cos its one of the slimmest phones in the world...even still to this day, it is only 9mm thick and small, fits in jeans pocket lovely... camera isnt very good compared to todays phones but in good light it takes decent 2mp photos

only grime with it is it can only take a 1Gb or 2Gb sdcard and only plays MP3 or AAC audio

I want to upgrade to another slim phone that can take HCSD cards and plays FLAC, ALAC, Vorbis, AAC, MP3 etc (aswell as high sample rates up to 96kHz and high bitrates up to 24 or 32 Bits in the FLAC or ALAC containers so I can listen to studio quality music I have like some Pink Floyd and some Film Scores (Inception) I have in 96/24

at moment im using her iPod (which doesnt play high sample rates) and means i have two devices in pockets

ahh i see... android OS allows apps to control stuff like codecs? so basically if i bought an android phone (when i have the money lol) i could probably play anything?  brill!!

I prefer Foobar2000 as it can use VST's, DSP's and ASIO4ALL - I know WinAmp can also use VST's + DSP's but not ASIO4ALL - they are the only media players that can - I use an Audio Mastering Program (iZotope Ozone) as a VST plugin on Foobar2000 to make my music sound better on my system... its brill program, beats using a sole EQ any day...

EQ
LOUDNESS MAXIMIZER
STEREO IMAGING
MASTERING REVERB
DYNAMIC MAXIMIZER
HARMONIC EXCITER
DITHERING
+more

There are only foobar2000 control apps available from the android, that require foobar2000 on your pc.

The tocco lite one of many phone I've had, only had it for a short time because could not get it work with a satnav program from getjar and bluetooth receiver so bought SE W910i.

Have you looked on getjar http://www.getjar.com/ for java apps

to be honest im not bothered about it being slim, but dont want a wide or long phone either... just something that has an OK camera and can play highbitrate music and many formats..

I got the Galaxy S2. O2 £24 a month 300min 500mb and unlimited text.

Still trying to get to grips with it, all ways finding something new about it, first smart phone for me only used a phone to make calls before but starting to do other things like surfing the web which didn't appeal to me on a phone , texting as I didn't do much before but for some reason am doing more on this phone.

I have an Orange San Francisco aka ZTE Blade which is a budget Android. It's been out a while now so dev is slacking off now but it is fine for what I want.
