if theres nothing of same spec or value that makes you happy then they will have to give you cash to get it elsewhere lol...

I've made three different claims in the past with different insurers and they all used one particular company, the name of I can't remember, that gets hold of old models for the insurance companies. You are more than likely to get the same model as a replacement as I did on three occasions when I thought I get cash or a better model upgrade.

mmm ...never liked plasma's myself
How come? I thought you'd sit on the Plasma-side of the debate actually.

I find the pictures more natural - depends on the Model of course, as they aren't all great...

I got mine from Richer Sounds. Screen went - they came and watched the blinking light code which it displayed. Took it away, and fixed within a few days. Hopefully, you'll have similar luck...

u want to get onto them and ask them how long youe expect to be without a TV... and decide if thats too long and ask if they will temporarily give you one to use...tell them you have no other TV

Richer Sounds told me I could have a temporary TV for a £50 returnable deposit. But it was back soon enough, so didn't bother...

We got our Panny from John Lewis. When we had problems, they took the TV away and brought a smaller HD replacement. I was quite surprised as I wasn't expecting them to.
